Cabin Rental Security Deposit Policy and Damage Deposit Policy

Rental Security Deposit

A Rental Security Deposit must be submitted with the Confidential Credit Information Regarding Offer to Rent form for approval and processing in order to hold and secure requested rental period and cabin.

Rental Security Deposit to be:

  1. If 1 week to 1 month rental period then 50% of total basic rent.
  2. If over 1 month rental period then 25% of total basic rent.

Rental Security Deposit maybe be refundable where rental is cancelled with more than 30 days notice to commencement of effective rental term with a 15% administration fee charged. If cancellation of rent occurs 0 days to 30 days prior to commencement of effective rental term then the deposit is non-refundable and shall be forfeited as liquidated damages and not as a penalty and the Rental Agreement shall be null and void for all purposes and of no further force and effect.

Rental Damage Deposit

Upon commencement of rental term a Damage Deposit of 20% of total basic rent is required and will be held to the credit of the Renter for a maximum period of 30 days after the completion of rental and inspection of use of cabin and site for any damages, repairs and inventory of all fixturings. Inlett reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to repair and replace, damages and/or fixturings, as necessary with charges applied against damage deposit and if costs are in excess of damage deposit then additional costs will be assessed to Renter and in all cases a 15% management fee shall be applied.
